HOW LONG WILL LAHAIR EXTENSIONS LAST?

LAhair.com.au hair extensions are red carpet quality extensions that should easily last 10-18+ months with correct care – the better care you take with them, the longer they will last.  Remember they are human hair, and just like your own hair, requires care and conditioning. Nearly all Australian and ebay suppliers will only attach a 3-6 month lifespan to their hair extensions – this is an indication that they are cheap, low quality and not worth buying.

 

Our Professional Choice range of permanent extensions come with a worldclass 10-18 month expected lifespan.  When you buy from a genuine supplier like us, you will get superior celebrity quality.

SHOULD I TRIM OR CUT MY LAHAIR EXTENSIONS?

Yes – when you first receive your hair extensions please take them to a hair stylist to cut them in for you – this will ensure they they blend seamlessly with your own hair so that no one can tell they’re actually extensions!  After the initial style cut, remember that they are made of natural hair and need the same care and attention that you give your own such as conditioning.  That being said, you shouldn’t have to trim them often provided you are taking care of them, brushing them out after wearing them,washing and conditioning them periodically, etc.

CAN I WASH, STRAIGHTEN AND CURL MY LAHAIR EXTENSIONS?

Yes – you can style and wash your hair extensions just like normal hair as they are 100% human hair.  That being said, try staying away from shampoos with sulphate in them and use hydrating conditioners – Leave-in conditioners and heat protectants will prolong the amazing condition of the hair extensions as well.  You can straighten and curl your hair just like you do your own, just remember to treat it kindly (like you do your own hair) to maximize the life and beauty of it 🙂

CAN I COLOUR AND HIGHLIGHT MY HAIR EXTENSIONS?

Yes – you can colour your LAhair.  Should you choose to dye your hair extensions, please keep in mind these general rules to ensure you maintain the amazing condition of the hair as best as possible:

  • adding colour in is ALWAYS better for the hair condition than trying to remove colour – don’t lighten your hair extensions as it will lessen the quality (bleach works through opening up the hair cuticle to extract the colour)
  • if you need to achieve a colour such as purple (a colour we don’t supply), please purchase light blonde extensions and then add the purple colour in

WHAT IS AFTERPAY?

LAhair are proud to offer Afterpay as a payment option for our customers.  Afterpay is a flexible and interest free payment plan option which splits the cost of the item into 4 x fortnightly payments – so that you can have the item straight away, but pay for it over 8-weeks! Unlike lay-by, you get the product straight away – completely interest and fee-free!

THE PRODUCT I WANT IS CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE - WHAT IS A WAITLIST?

LAhair Product Waitlists are available to join when one of our products is out of stock or Coming Soon.   By adding yourself to our waitlist, you will receive an email as soon as the product arrives to our online store – giving you an immediate opportunity to purchase it before it sells out.  Should you choose not to purchase it, no worries! All you did was add yourself to our product email list for notifications once it arrived in stock 🙂

 

Waitlist buttons are only available for products that are due for sale in the near future.  If an item has sold out, you will have an opportunity to backorder it – see below – “HOW DO I BACKORDER AN ITEM?”

HOW DO I BACKORDER AN ITEM?

LAhair Backorders are available when one of our items has sold out and we are waiting on the next shipment to arrive.  You will be notified prior to purchase and payment, if the item is currently out of stock.  Should you proceed with the purchase and backorder, you will be notified as soon as the item is in stock and it will ship immediately to you.

 

Our Backorder process takes up to 4-weeks – generally speaking you won’t be waiting much longer than 2-weeks before you receive a backorder item, as our items often sell out very quickly and new stock is always on its way to us.

Unlike nearly all retailers, we ship worldwide, to ALL countries that Australia Post reaches. We provide Standard International and Express International postage options, with the option to choose ‘signature on delivery’ and ‘extra cover’ for your peace of mind.

WHAT IS YOUR REFUND AND EXCHANGE POLICY?

We check all products to ensure they are in perfect condition prior to packaging.  We also ensure all our products arrive in brand new, unopened, security sealed packaging for customer satisfaction and peace of mind.  Accordingly, please choose carefully as hair extensions are considered a hygienic product and due to health and hygiene regulations we do not provide returns.

 

EXCHANGES

  • If the tester piece is in original unaltered condition, and the extensions AND packaging are in original, unopened, brand new condition we will accept exchanges within 14-days of receiving the order
  • Please return your exchanges in an Express Post Parcel – we accept no responsibility for lost or untracked packages
  • A store credit for the cost of the extensions will be issued via email once the exchange has been received and processed by our warehouse team – please allow 3-5 business days for this
  • The customer is responsible for all postage and handling costs associated with the exchange
